Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech : Welcome to Morocco! Upon your arrival at Marrakech airport, you'll be transferred to your accommodation. You will begin your exploration of Marrakech with a visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech, This site is a must-see for its beautiful architecture and historical significance. Marrakech is a city where culture and street life are one and the same. The streets of the Old Medina and the iconic Jemaa el-Fna Square serve as open air galleries, rich with local culture. From the Koutoubia Mosque with its stunning minaret to the vibrant energy of Djemaa el-Fna, it’s a photographer's dream. Street performers, snake charmers, market stalls, and local artisans offer constant opportunities to capture spontaneous moments of Moroccan life. As the sun sets, the square transforms, making it a prime location for night photography to capture the warm glow and movement of Marrakech. Arrival dinner with open bar and open buffet Day 2: Journey to Fes : After breakfast you will head out for a journey towards Fes, which is a living museum, where tradition and local culture remain deeply ingrained in daily life. Once you’ve settled in, take a Medina tour of Fez. You will be accompanied by a local guide who will lead you through the narrow, winding streets of the old city, where you can witness local life and see ancient buildings, schools and mosques. Fes' Old Medina is a maze of narrow streets where you can photograph local artisans at work—potters, weavers, and blacksmiths all practicing ancient crafts. Later, you will visit the famous Tannerie Chouara, one of the oldest leather tanneries in the world. Here, you will observe the traditional process of dyeing leather in large vats, a method that has been used for centuries. Before heading back to your hotel for the night, Wander through the ancient souks, and you’ll find endless moments of Moroccan life unfolding before your lens Day 3: Travel to Tangier : After breakfast at the hotel, travel to Tangier which blends its European and North African heritage, and this cultural fusion is seen everywhere in the city’s streets. Capture the local street vendors in the Medina, offering everything from spices to handcrafted goods. The Cape Spartel views offer a chance for panoramic shots, but it’s the local life at the foot of the cliffs, along with the Mediterranean vibe, that brings this city alive in photos. The Hercules Cave provide dramatic backdrops for capturing coastal scenes at sunrise or sunset, highlighting the unique atmosphere of Tangier’s maritime culture. The cultural influences in Tangier are incredibly rich, especially in art, music and literature. The city has long been a hub for artists, writers, and musicians. Famous authors like Paul Bowles and William S. Burroughs lived here, and their presence still lingers in the artistic atmosphere of the medina. The Old Medina of Tangier offers a diverse and dynamic environment for street photography. The narrow alleyways, whitewashed walls, and intricate archways create a visually rich landscape to explore with your camera Day 4: Chefchaouan Exploitation → Tangier After breakfast, you’ll head to Chefchaouan a unique in its cultural identity, primarily influenced by Berber traditions and the Andalusian architectural style. The town’s blue-painted walls are a hallmark of its charm, and they symbolize a sense of peace and tranquility. While the blue color is often attributed to religious and spiritual significance, it also helps to cool the houses during the hot summer months, reflecting the town's practicality and artistic spirit. The Blue Medina feels like stepping into another world, where the streets, buildings, and even some of the staircases are painted in varying shades of blue—from sky blue to deep indigo. The local people, primarily from Berber and Arab heritage, continue to live traditional lives that blend their mountain heritage with influences from the Mediterranean. Women in bright traditional clothing, men with their djellabas, and children playing in the streets make for captivating candid photography. Chefchaouen’s narrow streets, alleyways, and hidden courtyards provide stunning backdrops for street photography. The color blue itself offers a minimalist aesthetic, where every portrait becomes striking as the subject stands out against the cool tones of the buildings Day 5: Return to Marrakech : After breakfast, you'll depart to Marrakech Marrakech is a city where history, tradition, and modernity collide, creating an environment that is rich in cultural significance and visually dynamic. The city has long been a center of trade, art, and craftsmanship, and its vibrant streets provide an endless supply of photographic opportunities. Once you’ve settled in, embark on a journey where you get to explore and visit its Islamic architecture, seen in palaces, the Jamaa el Fna souks. Bahia Palace and El Badi Palace showcase the intricate tilework, carved wood, and lush gardens that reflect the grandeur of Moroccan craftsmanship. These architectural features are woven into everyday life in the Medina, offering both historical insights and stunning visual material for photographers. Day 6: Marrakech Excursion : After breakfast, A day trip to the Atlas Mountains offers an unforgettable experience that brings you close to the heart of Morocco’s rural beauty and traditional Berber culture. Atlas Mountains provide a striking contrast to the urban life of the city. Here, in the Imlil Valley and the village of Ouirgane, you’ll witness traditional Berber life, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant street scenes. Lunch at Kasbah Tamadot, a luxurious retreat set against the dramatic backdrop of the mountains, is the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration and photography. The Atlas Mountains are known for their dramatic landscapes, ranging from lush valleys to snow-capped peaks. The scenic beauty of the mountains is perfect for wide-angle shots that showcase the rugged terrain and rolling hills. Sunset or golden hour shots, with the light casting long shadows over the mountain ridges, create breathtaking photographs that highlight the majesty of the Atlas Mountains. Lunch at restaurant Kasbah Tamadot which features traditional Moroccan cuisine, set against the backdrop of the stunning Atlas Mountains. Return to your Riad / Hotel for the night Farewell diner with open bar and open buffet. DAY 7: DEPARTURE : Following your final check-out, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
