<br /><br />The Cathedral of Seville is the biggest Gothic temple in the world and its construction dates back to the 15th century. Thanks to the help of the tour guide you'll learn about the origin of the cathedral, built over the old Mosque of Seville, and how it displays the synthesis of Islamic and Christian art that characterizes Seville. Next to the cathedral, you'll find the Giralda, the old minaret which became the bell tower. Climb up to the top and admire the city of Seville from 104 meters high. The cathedral was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
<br /><br />The tour then continues with a visit to the Royal Alcázar, one of the most important royal palaces still in use in Europe. This incredible landmark of Seville has a long history that is reflected in its structure and decorations.
