Galle: Sri Lanka's Hidden Gem
Galle epitomises Sri Lanka's multicultural history more than any other city. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it boasts an exotic mix of architecture. On this small group excursion, you'll enjoy a puppet show and a walking tour of Galle Fort, followed by sunset watching.

<br />You'll arrive in the afternoon and kick off with a traditional puppet show in a puppet theatre. It takes great skill to dance the masked marionettes. The puppets have been used for generations in traditional Bali and Thovil healing rituals. Next up is a guided walk through the partially walled Galle Fort, which dates from the Dutch colonial period in the 17th century. Drop into old churches, walk the walls and peek into old merchant houses where generations of Moorish families still live.

Worth every penny
Really enjoyed the Galle: Sri Lanka's Hidden Gem. It was well organized, informative and the guide in Colombo was excellent. We learned so much and had a great time. Would recommend to friends and family.
